Paint & Coating Technologies for your home and office

Our coatings are tinted to color just like traditional latex paints except they have the added bonus of saving energy. Painting your wall can be like adding insulation without the mess or additional expense. And it works both inside and out!
Reflects
Heat
With our SuperTherm latex coatings, you change the appearance of your home and reflect heat
at the same time. A 10-mil thick coat (less than 1/64") of our paint on your exterior wall can
reflect over 90% of the sun's energy and
lower your internal temperatures by as much as 20°F in summer!
When applied to interior surfaces, our paint works like a
mirror to keep heat inside making your house
toasty warm in the winter. Surfaces painted with our SuperTherm coating simply reflect the heat energy back
to where it came. This allows your furnace, heat pump, or air conditioner to cycle less frequently and therefore use
less energy.
Tintable
There are limits as to how dark you can tint this paint. The best results are
achieved with
light earth-tone or light pastel
colors.
Because it interferes with its insulating abilities, this paint cannot be
tinted to medium or darker colors.
Insulating Equivalent
Our paint provides an insulating equivalent of 8 inches of fiberglass-bat
insulation to heat and cold with just a single uniform 10-mil thick coat. Applying
this paint
to both the interior wall and outside surfaces provides even greater insulating
properties. This paint also reflects sound and makes your home quieter!
Coverage and Application
A uniform layer at least 10-mil thick is required for an optimum insulating and
reflection effect. Coverage is typically 500-750 square feet per 5-gallon
bucket. You can apply this coating with an air-less latex sprayer, a roller, or
a brush. Dries adequately to repel water in 4 hours and cures completely in 10 days.
Preparation
Our Top Coat Paint adheres to most clean, dry sealed surfaces with normal
surface preparation. A simple generous power washing of the surface with plain
water is usually adequate. On walls with
peeling paint,
first scrape off all old peeling and lose paint. Oils, rust, blistering,
cracks, water seepage, and broken boards or roof tiles must of course be
repaired or replaced as needed and as you normally would with any painting preparation.
When the surface is porous such as with unsealed wood, stucco, or concrete,
apply a coat of our Primer before painting. Stir paint or primer mechanically for
at least 4 minutes before using for best results.
Cleanup
Cleanup your brushes and rollers with just plain water! Since SuperTherm is a
latex-based coating, it is water soluble and cleanup is exactly the same as with
any other latex paint.
